I'd like to express my adoration for this album. As a fan from prior to the release of their self-titled debut LP, I fell off for many years. I stopped listening from about 2016 and I came across this album and thought to give the band a resurrection in my repertoire of bands.
As an outsider for a while, I found this album quietly placed in their list of releases. It was there but it didn't make an impact. Until you listen to each song individually with a special kind of attention.
This album from start to finish is a work of art.
The feeling of this album is something I want to bathe, to swim in.
The sounds are mesmerising, nostalgic, yet brand new.
They cover all the genres. There is something different everywhere.
It's everything I didn't know I needed and now I cannot stop.
This album has resurrected the love I should have had for the 1975 all along and I suggest you take the time to sit down and listen to NOACF, to explore the work behind the scenes, to watch the music videos, and to just exist alongside this piece of artwork.
