Melanie Holmes

This movie is one long anxiety attack by Princess Di. From the erratic start (she's lost, stops in a cafe, asks "Where am I?" Even though she ends up being not far from where she grew up). To...sorry, but spouse & I couldn't watch to the end. We watched the first 55 min., then sped thru the rest, watching for a plot to emerge. It didn't. I loved Princess Di. Hated this movie.

Diane Lane and Kevin Costner deliver on the great acting I've come to expect. Lane is best when she plays a strong woman. Costner pulls off quiet protective type with finesse. This movie's theme of complicated family systems is both heartfelt and unsettling. Sure packs some surprises.

Boring. Complete waste of time. Most of it is his dillusions, but how does anyone know what his hallucinations were? Hated this movie. I even sped thru a few parts of it. Those giving this movie 4 or 5 stars is bewildering.
