I very much loved the first game and have played it and watched it several times. I grew to love and connect with several of its characters and the relationships formed between them. However, I find myself outraged not only at the treatment of these characters I and many have come to love, but also the execution of the story. Making the player spend 10-16 hours playing the characters that is one of the villians and most hated characters of the game is an insult to the original masterpiece that was the last of us. Don’t buy this game, there’s no big pay off, just a depressing, disappointing story that drags its feet and characters through the mud and leaves you feeling upset and hopeless.
