Masters of the air are the new recruits that join a seasoned unit. It had big shoes to fill. Being a fan of band of brothers, I had high expectations for this show. Most of the characters feel under developed and you don't feel real camadarie among them. There are some scenes that captivate you but it often falls short. Overall, masters of the air is mediocre but watchable. When compared to band of brothers its a bombing mission that misses it's target.
