Lying about one of the most well-known figures who was just and respectful of other cultures and beliefs sounds very insane! Even Herodotus’s account, the only one describing such a death for Cyrus the great, states that the son killed himself after being captured by the army of Cyrus the Great, ashamed to face his tribe. If this story were even half true, there would be no doubt that the Achaemenid Empire would have sought revenge for the death of Cyrus the Great.
There is no historical evidence to suggest that Persians, as a people, had a practice or reputation for killing their guests. In fact, Persian culture has a long-standing tradition of hospitality, which is deeply embedded in its social and cultural norms.
Hospitality and the protection of guests were highly valued in ancient Persian culture, as they are in many cultures around the world, and still is like that. Such a ridiculous waste of film.
