Probably one of the best science fiction series ever made. I was a big fan of the original series growing up. This version is much darker and goes much more into how Cylons and humans evolution goes full circle. Often with dark and unintended consequences. The writers of this series were brilliant incorporating how technology influences humans - in both good and evil ways . And incorporating a biblical story line to it. As a software engineer by trade, the evolution and the application of technology is well represented and theoretically possible. Today we're about 20 years away from being able to download the contents of a human brain and install it into a machine - Cylon Resurrection technology. If we ever get to quantum computers, much of it is possible.
