This series is terrific. The the characters as well as the actors who portray them are excellent. It is a perfect prequel to the original series and manages both to stay true to the original roots and approach of Star Trek and also to do it in a very modern current way. After being totally disappointing by discovery, which I consider unwatchable and ultimately by Picard, which really did run out of steam and outlived its sell by date, I am delighted that I can’t recommend this series highly enough.
