Loved the premise, loved Christina, but the cheesy dialogue brought it down for me. Could have done without the "boyfriend" who seems toxic during the whole film honestly lmao. Would have much rathered a focus on Christina's character *only* and her rise to fame. Loved the movie but near the end I was getting bored, and it would have been more empowering to see her rise above the boyfriend drama and focus on herself and become more famous over the years. All in all a good film, not great, but I love Cher and Christina Aguilara so I can't complain.

The first time I seen this movie I would guess I was around 5 years old. Since the moment I watched it I became obsessed and as a child I would watch and rewatch this movie over and over and over. It was there when my passion and love for horses started. This will always be one of my favourite movies of all time. Even watching it now at 23 years old the writing, plot, animation, music, cast, everything was so ahead of it’s time and will definitely go down in history as one of Dreamworks’ best films. It can move you to tears, which I can’t recall many other animated movies/shows doing. I’m disappointed with the remakes of this movie, both the new show and the new movie are absolutely awful and don’t do this justice in the least bit. They really don’t make kids films like this anymore.

Not sure how so many people can truly like this show. Its incredibly cheesy, terrible acting, awful plot, its unbearable to watch really. How it is this popular with this many high ratings blows my mind! Reminds me of a low budget Canadian movie (if you know, you know.)
