This game has exactly what you should expect a pay to win game to have. Getting to max level is easily manageable without purchasing anything. The game also seems to give you a generous amount of mats and supplies to get you started in the end game. Advancing your character in the end game is the problem. I can understand having to pay some money to play competitively in the game, even up to about $100. However, the game will seem to be moving along with paying about that amount of money, until you get to the end game raids and bosses. At that point, the game will require you to pay hundreds of dollars, on something of a monthly basis, to be able to competitively access the end of game content. Let me be clear, paying about $100 will get you to the bare minimum of gear to be ready to go into the end game. However, after that, you will have to pay just to access the end game content, as it becomes impossible to farm the necessary mats to craft or attain the gear that will give you a reasonable amount of power to attempt to unlock the end game content. You will have to pay hundreds after that to unlock the content. And when new content comes out, you will have to pay hundreds more to get to the point you were in the previous season. Now, that being said, that is what I have come to expect from about any free to play game. The odd part about this whole experience is that, even though many people people are clearly paying multiple hundreds of dollars to competitively play this game, it clearly is not making what I would consider the minimal amount of upkeep to allow the game to run smoothly, in any sense of the word. The game will randomly lag, on the server side, multiple times an hour. The timing of the on screen PVE mechanics that you need to deal with, are completely off, and often. So if you spend a reasonable amount of money, or an absurd amount, you will still commonly fail content on a consistent basis. I will say that the fighting mechanics and combat is at least mediocre, but that does not matter because you will randomly die for no reason because mechanics have such poor timing, that you are taking damage long before the visual cue reaches you. The graphics appear to be pretty good for an online MMORPG, but its not as enjoyable to watch the screen tearing in the middle and poor FPS upload ability that is completely untied to your rig. I have been playing this game on a 4070 ti super with a 4070 ti super and a 7800 x3d processor. I play this game getting consistently 400 mb/s with 200 mb/s upload. I absolutely recommend you to completely pass over this game.
