Absolutely awful. Lazy port to a new engine. These games are not thoroughly tested before they are launched at all. Has some of the same in known game presentation mistakes and game time glitches as NHL21 had, which is inexcusable. Your teammate AI is actually WORSE than 21, which is borderline criminal. All the CPU has to do to stop you is play zone. Your AI players just sit in their 4 corners, no matter what strategy you give them. There is also nothing quite like being chased by 3-4 of the opposing CPU players while your team stands directly opposite a blocked passing lane. Call for a 1 timer? Better have your catchers mitt ready for the 98 MPH pass that is coming your way, vecause your teammate believes you slept with his lady evidently. 2 on 1 for you? Expect your AI to slow down, stop 10 feet from the net, and allow the opposing CPU to get into the passing lane. God forbid its a 3 on 1 and both of your AI Players manage to be covered at the same spot cause who needs spacing? Think you have a breakaway? Opposing CPU 2 strides directly behind you says "hold my beer", as the highly touted, new stick physics break the quantum realm holding us together by guiding a poke check through your legs, and swiping the puck cleanly onto his stick. Need to get back on defense? Nah, the opposing CPU will skate into you, not allowing you to get around him. So interference is off...nope, you just got called for interference on the same play... There is fantastic little bug that causes your screen to "sync" and allows the game to be played without you until a puck stoppage. In single player mode...syncing... It took them AT LEAST 8 years to finally give manual line change control to hybrid users...and it doesn't even work right. And these are just the aspects within their immediate control. Online is an entirely other book the length of War and Peace. I cannot possibly emphasis enough how awful this game is. Don't spend money on this game. Just don't. It isn't worth it at all.
