Tim Burton utterly destroyed a cult classic with this terrible film. The original film was a serious but dark comedy with a little strange but interesting background and story. No spoilers but if you are expecting the same type of movie forget it, because this isn't Beetlejuice; it is a last grab at money for a group of old actors trying to grasp the fame of glory gone by.
