This movie was a let down. I am a huge fan of the books, and so is my friend, so when we heard about the movie we were so excited! When it finally came to Disney + me and him watched it, and we were disappointed. First of all, not to sound sexist, but why is Commander Root a girl!? In the book he was a middle age kickass dude who smokes cigarettes and bosses people around, and now he's a old lady! Second, what happens to the story line!? They left out so many things from the book, what are they trying to copy Harry Potter or something? They just left out some of the best parts if the book. Third, when he goes into the basement with all of that fairy books, hes just like oh yeah fairy's exist now, whatever. What!?

This movie was OK. I think the movie could be cut down by at least a hour, and the final fight scene was small and lame. The acting was good, but I think most of the middle was just dragged out and unneeded. And they don't even really acknowledge that it's set in the 1980s. I think it was just a bit basic and predicdible.

This movie is excellent. The cast is good, Margot Robbie, Ewan McGregor and many more amazing actors. It is hilarious and violent, I think the MA 15+ rating is appropriate. The fight scene in the police station is a bit unrealistic, but it's epic. It was good seeing Ewan McGregor playing a darker role as the villian, Black Mask, instead of his most famous role as Obi Wan Kenobi, a classic good guy. The only problem I had with this movie is that Black Canary didn't really use her powers, which annoyed me a bit. Aside from that it was good. This is movies is comedy gold. From Harley Quinn's pet Hyena named Bruce "after that chuncky rich guy" to to how the girl litteraly eats the diamond. (FYI that's not a spoiler.) What else is good is that it's on Netflix, which lots people have, and it's not a reallllly long watch like Star Wars it Avatar. If you have the spare time, and Netflix, you should check it out!

This movie was AMAZING. It follows the dark journeys of Arthur Fleck, or, The Joker. What I liked about this is you don't even have to like DC or the Joker to like this movie. The cast is amazing, Robert De Niro, Joaquin Phoenix and many more amazing actors. And if you are a DC fan, this movie provides a great backstory. The soundtrack is incredible, something people often go past when thinking about this movie. Joaquin Phoenix was absolutely incredible as the Joker!!! He perfectly captured the insanity, murderous and psycotic ways of Arthur Fleck. The one thing I didn't like was that we only got to see the iconic Joker suit at the end of the movie. Except for that, I consider this movie perfect. If you have the time, watch this movie.
