The book is okayish as is. The writing feels too immature. It feels like someone in high school wrote the book trying to imagine what an adult’s life would look like. I agree that it’s a book that falls under the rom com genre but I think there are better books that would serve the purpose of what a romantic comedy book would. But if this is the first ever book you are reading, it will definitely be an easy read.
