If I could give this movie 0 stars, I would. From the get go the movie was completely boring and NOTHING like the 1st one. Not even comparable. Lydia (Winona Rider ) was great in the first one as a child, but her character sucked as an adult. Micael Keaton, (and I Love all his movies) seemed just as bored playing the role as I was watching it. Cathrine O'hare looked like she was struggling to add substance to her character and carry the same charm she did in the first one, and the guy that played Rory was simply over the top annoyance. The movie had no substance, no humor, and as I suffered through the first 37 mins. of the movie trying to stop myself from bolting out of there, and trying to convince myself that surely it was going to get better, it didn't and I realized that I had just wasted my time and money, just to finally give up and walk out. Sitting in the parklot waiting for the movie to end and my friend to walk out so we could finally leave was more entertaining. What a shoddy, disappointment and such a shame, from one of the greats, Tim Burton.
