This has on the book recommendations and I must say itβs worth reading. Itβs written and presented like those books revolving around the Humanities and Social Sciences. That made it easy for me to read the whole book within a few hours because I used to read lots of those books back in senior high.
Well, ππ ππππ is about having or doing what makes oneβs life worthwhile. It revolves around the centenarians (a person who is 100 years old or older) of the village Ogimi in Okinawa, Japan. It discusses what they practice daily so that they reach a happy long life, this includes philosophical beliefs, practical tips such as the food to eat, how we should psychologically deal with life, as well as mind and body exercises.
I enjoyed it cause it is not just like a self-book giving words of advice but an actual thing to do to help our bodies and minds be fulfilled. My favorite part is the last chapter because it has been my practice in life since then! Itβs about negative visualization and talks about the practice of imagining the worst thing that could happen so you can be prepared. Itβs like being proactive with what you do, taking control to avoid the possibility of a problem happening.
I also find ππππ-ππ€ ππππ-π worth compelling intoβto focus on the present and enjoy each moment that life brings us. We might still worry because that is part of life, but as per ππππ-π¨πππ, we should appreciate the beauty of lifeβs imperfection as an opportunity to grow. This is why it is so important to ο¬nd and pursue our ππ ππππβ the reason for oneβs being.
