One in a Million was released in '96, but sounds so modern after all these years. So many artists from Jojo to Normani have been inspired by babygirl's style, sound, and attitude. She set the stage for modern R&B and continues to influence the genre after being gone for over 20 years. I hear Aaliyah's influence in other artists like H.E.R. Summer Walker, Ryan Destiny, dvsn, and Bryson Tiller. This is a timeless album and I'm so glad it's finally streamable on Spotify!
