This is remake of Punjabi movie called Channa Mereya. Old wine in new bottle. Movie failed to impress.

A must watch movie for every Punjabi.

Year it's OK OK

A beautiful movie. It takes you back to earlier times and the simplicity of Punjabi villagers is beautifully portrayed. I will give 5/5 to this movie. Every Punjabi must see this movie once. I bet they will never regret their decision and would watch this movie over and over again.

Gulshan Devaiya acting as lawyer is outstanding. Film is overall average.

Third class movie. Wastage of time and money. How can even one make such a movie.

I will give 5 out of 5 to movie.Set in Amritsar Punjab this is story of immature lovers who are blindly in love but the boy is not committed for marriage. Whereas a decent NRI arrives and marry the girl. There are many ups and downs in relationship but then everything ends well. The script is good. The direction is also good. The acting of Abhishek Bachan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal is superb. It's worth watching movie.

It is a very nice movie. A must watch movie. The acting of Ranbir Kapoor is marvellous and I did not feel for a second that I am watching Ranbir Kapoors movie and throughout it seems that the role is actually being played by Sanjay Dutt. Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala did complete justice to the roles of Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt. The movie connects emotionally with the viewers and the people were seen unable to control their tears. Overall the film connected with the audience and the script being strong will not let you feel lacking at any stage. I give movie 5/5 stars.
