I thought the title was catchy. I just traded in some books at 1/2 priced books and had $3 to burn. I was expecting a cozy, I was wrong. The book is from the point of view of a serial killer, which is fine, I loved Dexter. However, I did not feel like Claire was an interesting character. She is hard to get behind. All her thinking seems to be from her "lizard brain". She is not very complex. Her childhood trauma is bizarre, the relationships she had with her parents is too black and white. There are a lot of plot holes. The plot is way too convoluted (not complicated). It seems like it was written in another time. There is a big plot point involving physical photos and newspaper articles. I wish I had chosen something else to read. I'm not sure who this book is for. It's not a mystery, it's definitely not a cozy, it's not a thriller . . . who knows.
