Now, I never write reviews. This movie made so little sense and was such a train wreck that I took the time to write all this. This movie is awful and a complete waste of time. Not sure why the official critics of Rotten Tomatoes gave it such high ratings but it does NOT deserve them. I was drawn in by the trailer, which featured interesting CGI and suspense/horror throughout that seemed to mimic Get Out. I was super into it. Then the actual movie started. CGI = visually still cool but the ways in which the director used it was wack. Did all the severed limbs look cool? Sure. Did the reason behind the severed limbs make sense? Of course not. I thought the whole premise would be that an all-encompassing desire for the Perfection inside the two players would manifest in the form of an infection that took over people absorbed with being perfect, which would have been a unique and fun horror plot line. Nope. They stuck with not only a nonsensical story line but a boring nonsensical story line at that. With each plot twist, the story gets weirder and weirder. The last scene made the movie even worse than we already thought it was, which seemed impossible. Really? Netflix, really? The two main characters cut off all his limbs, letting their rapist live, and punish him by making him listen to the two of them play beautiful music? ... Who the hell approved this? Are they okay? Why did you throw so much money into such an AWFUL NONSENSICAL movie? Love, Someone Who Wanted to Watch a Good Movie but Watched This Instead
