I read the trilogy when I was in grade school and I was totally hooked. There were days that I would rather read the book than study or do my homework. When I found out that it was being made into a series, I had really high expectations but low hopes that it would make it to a season 2, especially after how the movie panned out... But after watching the first 2 episodes, I was not disappointed! I'm glad they made the series more relatable and made the characters have more depth than how the movie interpreted them, especially with the portrayal of Mrs. Coulter as she is a very complex character that you will absolutely hate and love at the same time. I highly recommend this TV series and I hope we can all appreciate the wonder of Philip Pullman's universe.
