Personally, the first Good Burger has to be one of my favorite movies of all time. It hilariously captured the angst and goofiness of a struggling fast food restaurant. After rewatching the original Good Burger, I was utterly disappointed with this “sequel”. While Ed’s innocent humor persists, it doesn’t have the same charm. They did a great job at getting some of the original actors, but they were used in one off scenes that had no real value to the film. Most of the movie consisted of celebrity cameos and ads that were so obvious it was almost laughable. And don’t get me started on Ed’s son. Might be the most annoying character to ever exist. The kid was literally just a yapping machine trying to do the ed voice but sounding like a chronic smoker. My blood pressure rose every time this degenerative nimrod showed up. They really wanted it to be like a little version of Ed, but I just want to deliver a left hook to the kid. The storyline is abhorrent and Dexter might be one of the worst uncles to ever exist. I can commend the attempt but the universe is better without this movie.
