Netflix, Bigelow et al should be ashamed, what a frustrating ending, nothing artistic, creative or clever about it, it's just a cop out and a F U to paying subscribers.

Very tedious, overly long movie, full of truly awful characters, after 90 mins i wanna go do something else, there's still an hour to go :(

The story becomes an unfunny joke after Act 1, drags a lot, they thunk theyre being clever with all the oooo she looks like her, ooo whose dad is it gonna be, oooo etc etc, pretentious and bollocksy, you gwt very tired of them all by the end, which also never seems to quite arrive. Lovely gameplay, graphics, music etc but it just becomes a slog with 15-20 minute cutscenes. To be honest its just a bit up its own bottom. (probably the French influence!)

Just paid £0.79p for this on PS5. Never played before. Halfway through the campaign. It's excellent. 60fps, high-paced, accurate shooting, great set pieces. Like COD of old, what an absolute bargain!

Western actors doing stupid Eastern European accents in English is so annoying, Anya isn't very good at it either. She's also not very attractive so a love story with guns isn't great casting for a movie starring her. She really needs a good meal or three, she is so thin it is off-putting to watch. The 'plot' is one you've seen before, nothing new here. 2 out of 5.

Poor Heat rip off, almost scene for scene, and always worse scenes than Heat. Gerard Butler is not likeable at all and overacts. Schreiber actually is decent, and there are some watchable bits, but it's a bit too long (as you don't care about any of them) and you always feel like you've seen it before.

Playing Remake for the first time as it was cheap and I'd heard Rebirth was great. Currently just started chapter 8 but I'm struggling with the dialogue, it's absolutely awful, hardly makes sense, a lot of huh! Oh! Urgh! I'm finding it super annoying now and not sure I'm going to get through it. Characters are childish clichés too, sulky Cloud, silly girls and Barrett shouting everything. Game itself is good but i just don't like any characters and they're starting to grate on me big time. Feel like I'm going through the motions just so i can try Rebirth.

Booorrrring!!! Turned it off after about half n hour when i realised we were both scrolling on our phones and not even watching anymore. I've never been so bored so fast.

Knocking 2 stars off for the absolutely awful, unsatisfactory endings and myriad mysteries and arcs you've been invested in left completely unanswered. The 3 stars are for the highly enjoyable 12 hours before the ending, spent solving puzzles in a tense, atmospheric setting with strong retro Resident Evil vibes.

This game is such a buggy slog. Slow jogging everywhere, tonnes of chatty cutscenes, waaay too much dialogue, too many boring 'puzzles', horrible inventory system, only for the hardcore fans, and I love Control.
