If you don’t know who Sharon Tate was or know about her fate you shouldn’t see this movie. A quick google search can fix that because this movie really uses the audience’s general knowledge of Charles Manson and the Manson “Family”, and the crimes they committed. That’s only a piece of the movie but it really builds that up. For example I saw it by myself then decided to go with my family a second time. My one cousin is 16 and has no clue about who Sharon Tate and Charles Manson were. He didn’t think the movie was all too good.. on the other hand the rest of my family loved it and they all knew about the fate of Sharon Tate and company.
