In 500 years, humans have conquered fast interstellar travel, have developed weapons so powerful that a single bomb can kill 70 million people, but somehow we're still driving slow internal combustion engine vehicles on roads and killing each other with gunpowder-based firearms.
The plot is paper thin, the acting is wooden, and the writing is mind-bogglingly bad.
