Although it has a lower score than 'High Potential' which is a similar series, I feel it is better. They both have their special 'click moments' when you see the pennies drop and the truth is revealed and the guilty party is exposed... However, both have the same downside in my opinion, and this is the same in many American series, which says more about the writer than the viewing public... There is a point at the very end where the hero is overly rightious and vendictive, smighting them with their words, the hero will twist the knife of judgement... and it is weak, crass or base storytelling. It is more likely the writer gushing out their own pent up emotions with regards to the nemisis presented, a purge, before they go back into writing the next episode script. Some may like it, but those who have a good grasp on reality as well as the tale being retold will see the culture of the 'States' presented very clearly. Loved the series and actors, thought it was great.

I like this light hearted show, especially when she has her click and you see the case slowly get solved... The downside is the same as many American shows, that there is a vendictive twist of the knife at the end from the hero. It isn't a lone trait, the Will Trent series displays the same quirk. The writer gushing out their pent up emotions with regards to their nemisis; I feel it always comes across a little weak.

Absolutely loved this series, it had me, repeatedly, laughing out loud which is rare. I have complete admiration for navigating the maze of sensitive priorities and still caring towards a number of different target markets... Respect!

You will see that the reviews are Marmite, some love it, some hate it. There are annoying bits in it, where you shout at the screen saying, 'why is she telling everyone!' (Hence the 4 stars not 5). That said, I binged it and loved the storyline and writing. Everything becomes clear in the end, just the way it should, and there is also a salve placed (with a look 15 years into the future) this will confuse the low EQ watchers out there as it seems a little pointless. I would advise anyone sitting on the fence, to watch one episode; If you watch it and want to watch the rest, you won't be disappointed... Why would you watch all eight episodes if it is rubbish?... Keep that in mind when reading the reviews.

So funny! Nostalgic and cringe worthy. Not sure if you can see that Nicole Kidman had talent. 🤣

A wonderful emotionally shrewd movie that brought a touching tear to my eye.

It is a reminder of where we were... I cried more than I meant to... Based on a true story, the hurdles we overcome need to be remembered. I am not a great boss fan, but he wrote great music. The power of quiet art, to change lives, can't help but bombard us with emotion. A great movie.
