I'm sitting in the theater watching this right now. My nephew and I are the only two in here. We've been complaining about everything except the visuals. The acting is terrible. The casting is terrible. (With the exception of Tywin. He nailed it.) The story is terrible. The writing is terrible. It's terribly predictable. Everything about this movie, except for Tywin and the fact that it's about Godzilla, is worse than awful. And they're trying to build a serious franchise... Wouldn't you think it would be worthwhile to spend on more than just pretty visuals? I knew this would be bad, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. But I still came to watch the giants battle. And they even messed that up. Apparently the best defenses our world has are led and operated by complete imbeciles. Bad movie. So bad I should wait to post this, at least until it's over, because I only keep coming up with more to rag on. Don't waste your time, unless the absence of everything that makes a movie worthwhile, even logic, doesn't bother you.
