Despite having two A-listers leading the charge, it completely misses the mark. The plot is paper-thin and painfully slow, with virtually no sense of direction. The film tries to lean into humor and buddy comedy, but what we actually get is a pair of whiny, bickering old men spouting petty remarks at each other for most of the runtime. It’s more grating than entertaining. The pacing is draggy — it feels like the movie stretches every scene far past its breaking point — and there’s hardly any meaningful character development or tension to make the wait worthwhile. Both Pitt and Clooney deserve so much better, and so do we as an audience. When you have two of Hollywood’s most charismatic actors on screen and still manage to make a movie this boring, something went very wrong. Wolfs is a total waste of time and talent.
