A brilliant movie! Beautifully written, terse in its telling the story of a very important historical point at the beginning of "the American Century", perfectly cast, well directed, and marvelously acted by all its main characters.

A humorless, big budget movie in which the star completely lacks charisma and "star power". Very derivative with under-saturated color that is unrelenting. This might appeal to teenage boys but to few others.
