Audio version. I did finish although I admit to skipping chapters. I just plain did not like the book...the plot (lack of it), the characters (extreme navel gazing) or the explicit content. Did I hear the mother refer to her child, Sam, as "they." Why? I hope the author will consider her audience with any future book.

Well done, but the premise of the story has been done many times before. Once successful author, musician, painter etc. needs to find a way to replicate success. Takes on another "voice" and controversy ensues. For all the players (actors, director), this film was well done, but less so for originality. Enjoyed the local Boston/New England scenes..
