Ardra Punathil

Being an ardent fan of Tovino, it's kinda hard to say that this ought to be his worst performance till date. There is nothing commendable about the movie except India Jarvis's performance which looked quite natural as compared to rest of the cast. The movie has plenty of characters but all of them lack depth. The script doesn't give them any chances to grow. I just cannot understand why someone as talented as Tovino would choose such an insubstantial script. You won't miss out on anything if you skip watching this one. I searched 'kilometers and kilometres' to come up with something positive about the movie but there isn't anything worth mentioning except for the song sequences. Everything else is half-baked.

I agree that the show is historically inaccurate and the creators make no attempt to hide that fact but it's all cool with me as they have offered so much more by being creative. Easily one of the best series I've watched so far. I'll be forever grateful to the writers for not choosing the conventional way to tell her story. This perspective is so much better and imaginative, just like Dickinson might have wanted.
