This was a wonderful book about positivity and shifting your mindset. I found it somewhat of a “how to” not be focused on negative aspects of life and never winning. Your mindset is everything, and I think this book really highlights that and the tools you can use to succeed in life. I initially was a bit apprehensive about the book as it did at first seem like the author might be pushing religion a bit, but they immediately clarified that it wasn’t necessarily a “god” that exists that impacts our lives, but rather a higher being and more so the thought of being spiritual. With all due respect, I completely disagree with a review I read about this book “pushing religion”, as if you read just a bit further, the author clarifies that is exactly not what they are doing. I also wanted to point out that although this book highlights fixing your mindset, this book in no place advises using these topics as a way to cope with depression or anything similar that you may be struggling with. I would highly recommend getting the help of a medical professional if you might need something more than just a “mindset shift”. All in all, this book shows the importance of believing in yourself and looking at the positive things in life in order to not limit yourself in your negative thoughts and it was a really nice “pep talk” when you need one.
