I was highly disappointed and embarrassed as a citizen of Pennsylvania that the View brought on Senator Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania. He is a . questionable legislator in the eyes of many in my state and his touting of the use of hydroxychloroquine during his episode of coronavirus will encourage others to do the same. Only Joy countered and made a remark to the effect that this drug has been determined by the FDA as unlikely to be effective and can have serious side effects. This was bad publicity for the use of unproven drugs, even if there are two studies being conducted now. Why bring someone like this onto the show that only confuses the public about what is appropriate to take in corona virus times?

What a poor example this TV series portrays to the public. The stereotypical portrayal of a mother who enables her children to stay dependent upon her, and takes on yet another child as a lover is offensive. While it may seem progressive to show a woman taking a much younger lover, Julia Ormond’s character uses zero discernment in doing so. It’s obvious the character has done no post divorce introspection and instead acts like a wounded bird who is gullible beyond belief. And is the ending supposed to show a happily ever after with a disturbed young man who is totally financially dependent? He has a good mother substitute and she has a new little boy. What a disturbing message.
