Before I start my endless rant about how much I hate and despise this, this garbage of an excuse of a show; I would like to take the time to appreciate a guy who goes by the name Jonathon Bastian I really appreciate the way you summed up my every critique about this show.
Now to my comment:
As a child and a big fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, since I was 7-8 2012 version of the the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was my go to show other than SpongeBob SquarePant; And to see Nickelodeon disrespect my childhood is beyond me. I am deeply disappointed and a bit disgusted by anyone who says this show deserves a 5/5 rating after watching the original versions of the series.
My critique:
Master Splinter is a fat, lazy, good for nothing, sorry excuse of a mentor and father.
Master Splinters Personality in 2012:
Master Splinter is many things to the Turtles - A wise sensei, defensive parent, loving father, an athourity figure, quirky master and Zen philosopher. He is determined to train and protect his new family at all costs.
V.S.
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:
He is absent-minded and even has trouble remembering his sons' names, often referring to them by their mask colors. Splinter however retains his martial arts knowledge and acrobatic moves, and eventually mentors the turtles.
What in H E double hockey sticks did you do to The Turtles!!! The look more like frogs that have recently robbed mutated turtles.
And why is Ralph build like a bodybuilder on steroids?
Why did y'all feel the necessity to change Casey Jones AGAIN?!? It's bad enough that Casey was so stupid in the 2012 now you changed his gender. I understand why you did so, but at the same time I still wish to know why.
I thought she was Karai.
The only positive thing(s) I can say/write about the show:
I appreciate Michelangelo appearing more intelligent.
Donatello is less of a pushover.
