This book came highly recommended and is well-reviewed so I bought it with confidence. But at the risk of sounding snobby, I'm a reader of classic well written literature, and this is not that. The author unecessariily reminds us of things of things we remember, the characters are overly simplified, and a lot of things are just lame (three books aren't that heavy). At the same time, I read it in two days. Two days!! All while transparently thinking the writing was poor, I wanted to know what would happen next in this story that promised "many twists and turns" and certainly delivered. In the end I was satisfied and very entertained. So know that this is no literary experience but rather like hearing a friend tell you a good juicy story.
