Disclaimer: I’m not a big Seinfeld fan although I also don’t hate him or anything. At first I hated this and wondered what the heck I was even watching and how the heck they could pack so much star power into such a boring unfunny movie. The only part I laughed at in the first half was when he said he wouldn’t be able to pay for his kids’ college now and that it cost $200 a year. But then it started getting funnier to me in the second half. And the Mad Men sequence earned it another star just for that. John Hamm can save any movie and then we got Roger to boot?! I also can’t resist Melissa McCarthy even when she’s in a pretty dumb movie like this one. As an employment lawyer I enjoyed watching all the cereal mascots on strike. And the funeral was funny- I hope i get buried with Highest Cereal Honors when I die. You can also put lots of pop tarts in my coffin for me to snack on in my journey to wherever I’m going next. Because I love breakfast of any kind although green chile sausage burritos or huevos rancheros are best so I hope they have New Mexican food in the afterlife. But the cereal theme was all I really loved about this movie.
