The first 30-40 minutes of the movie is gut-busting laughter the entire time. Sandler is his usual hilarious self and is the bright spot of the film. While the rest of the movie has its funny moments, the plot and cartoonish feel is such a weird pivot from the original. While I appreciate not recycling the same thing it just didnโt land for me.
