How on earth can a completely fictional movie about a serial killer and hunting down sex trafficking perpetrators be labeled "based on a true story" when that story is such a miniscule part of the plot?? What would be helpful? Real stories about human trafficking, what does it really look like, how to potentially spot people being trafficked or abused. The idea of whatever kind of thriller this was trying to be, slick or cool, I don't know, feels really really wrong.
