*possible spoiler* A really good movie. The main lead carried this show on his back. I feel like him and the child he was protecting really made the movie because they did very well. Overall the plot was a bit much. The military coup, the “zombies”, the thing in the back of his neck that erased his memory, and I could go on and on. The action scenes were a bit unrealistic but I was on the edge of my seat most of the movie. It was undeniably good even considering all the cons. I love a good action movie with an interesting plot and you can NOT deny that that is indeed what this movie gave. I feel like overall the plot was interesting enough but you have to pay attention to really understand what’s going on. I watched the movie with my friends (it was my second time) and I felt compelled to explain certain things because they were confused which was understandable. There were quite a few holes in the story that you won’t catch from just watching it once. The ending was a bit confusing.. is that the end or is something else unrealistic going to occur and we’ll receive a Carter 2? Lol Anyways my rating may seem high compared to my actual opinion but ANY movie I can willingly watch 3 times is worth a decent rating.
