I loved it. The acting was incredible. Jamie was so small, young, and innocent looking, but very complex. Such an emotional and realistic drama. I felt sorry for Katie's best friend. That school environment was really sad, but also very real. My kids witnessed similar behaviors at school, though they had incredible teachers.
I thought the way they arrested him was a bit harsh for a 13 year old. I don't think it was necessary to send an entire SWAT team to break down the door. Two officers ringing the doorbell with a search warrant would have sufficed. Having a backup team in case things turned sour was warranted. Do they really go to those extremes in real life?
