The Drum is a platform for personal activism by its hosts on pet issues. The panelists seem to be chosen because they sympathize with the views of the hosts. There is no room for non conformists. There also is an over representation of female panelists. So the ABC can hardly argue it’s impartiality or independence where this show is concerned. As a taxpayer I find this most unsatisfactory and certainly it is poor journalism
