I loved this movie so much as a young tween; and now I’m realizing it’s because it’s Mulan, but with WASPs (White Anglo-Saxon Protestants). So Mulan came out in 1998, and this movie premiered on the Disney Channel in 2001. Did Disney just re-package Mulan to appeal more to White people?Welp, I loved Mulan, so it made sense that I loved this as well. Crazy! I only put that together in 2024… 🤷🏼‍♀️ The movies are so similar!! There was even a pond/lake scene like in Mulan. Anyways, this is a movie about girl-power and following your dreams, even in a man’s world. I just had so much love for this movie as a kid. Cheesiness and all! Got to love a classic DCOM. You’ll definitely want to rewind and watch this magical movie again, even if just to relive your tween years.

I love design shows, and this one was extremely cool. (You will get tired of hearing the competitors say: "I've never done anything like this before!" on every episode, but that's the only negative). Loved it! Hoping for another season.
