No words can describe this but……. Wicked is absolutely stunning and incredible! The cast, including Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are terrific as Elphaba and Glinda! The musical numbers are always the best, the cinematography is breathtaking, the choreography is top notch, the set designs are wonderful, and the singing is well executed! It even stays truthful and faithful to the broadway show that premiered over 21 years ago. In a big surprise, quite possibly the biggest surprise is that the original Glinda and elphaba Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel made a cameo in the film!! The one number that hit me and nearly teared me up was the iconic anthem Defying Gravity. Jon M Chu did a fantastic job! I am very much looking forward to seeing part 2 next year! As for this film, give Wicked film team an Oscar! Fly, don’t run to see Wicked, don’t miss it!
