Eddie has delivered!! 1980’s nostalgia baby! Oeuff! Plenty of action, loads of jokes, the great one liners & the Father-Daughter duo was incredibly smart. This movie was pure fun escapism, especially for those of us getting older who want just one more time to see the gang back together again! No spoilers here except Eddie Murphy and his infectious laugh is BAAAACK! For me, it didn't disappoint & felt like a kid again watching it! A solid 10/10 ✌🏼🧡 Go watch it! 🇬🇧

Thoroughly enjoyed this last night, great Netflix binge, it introduces the characters well, they are very complex & draws you in right from the start and keeps getting better with every episode. The the plot keeps you invested and entertained the whole way through. Not only is this a really fantastic ensemble of ALL Black Superheroes, it’s based in South London 🇬🇧 & tackles issues of young gangs, knife crime, sickle cell & the nefarious activities of the organized-crime syndicates. There’s a heck of a lot of uber talented young Actors in this show. Great directing & writing by Rapman plus the soundtrack showcasing some extremely talented UK Rap, Drill, Grime, Hip Hop, R&B & Reggae Artists. It’s like ‘Top Boy’ meets the ‘Avengers’! You may want to try and compare it to other similar films that have been made Don’t! It’s supposed to be a film Noir. It’s a dark mood of pessimism, fatalism, and menace. The intensity is palpable, you can literally ‘feel’ all the actors emotions through the screen, Ripley’s perpensity to talk himself out of situations makes your heart thump! The attention to details in scenes, fashion, a signature posh pen to artworks are intrinsically designed. The music was so nostalgic of Rome in the 60’s I love how the references to colour they speak of in scenes pop. 10/10 for cinematography. I thoroughly enjoyed it although it might not be everyone’s taste but I love film Noir, I found it very close to the original books. I was going to give it a 9/10 but then they showed ‘Ripley’s naked bottom so now I’ve given it a 10/10!! ✿ ✿ ❀¸¸¸.•*´¯`❀ ✿ ✿

The whole film was flat. The end.

Mind blowing, parallel universes and paradox mysteries is what makes it worth watching! Outstanding cast! 5*
