Tenley Kidde

Went into this one dragging my heels ( nothing else was grabbing me that particular night ) - but came out loving this engaging, funny and well - written movie. Had no idea who Charlie Day and Jennie Slate were - but they are a great match and are both excellent actors. The plot is not typical - and the dialogue and the comedic timing of both of these actors is what kept me in. The plot has much greater depth than your usual Rom Com with some side stories that illuminate the inherent kindness of these two ( even if their plan wasn’t so nice … ) If you are tired of all the viewing options that lean increasingly towards heaviness and the negative aspects of human behavior - this sweet, hopeful movie is so worth the watch.
