First of all, I had an unexpectedly fun time watching this movie after SO MANY subsequent B movies under the Predator banner. This is far and away the BEST movie after the 1st and always GOAT. But the icing on the cake for me, is after glancing over some of the 1 star reviews. Those miserable trash bags cosplaying as humans deprive themselves of joy and the exhilaration of a good sci-fi movie because why? There's none of the usual factors that makes them go apeshit. No Black folks, no gay -- anything. And yet you see them frothing, once again, about WOKE? LOL. Fuck all of those Haters, who fail to in life & love, and are on a perpetual mission to find something to cry about. Something to attempt to validate their pathetic empty lives by finding other delicate snowflakes who also have nothing to contribute other than hate because they are all devoid of originality, talent, creativity, and substance. BACK TO THEIR CRUSTY OVERFLOWING TISSUE BINS NESTLED BEDSIDE. FU LOSERS!

I don't think the 5 star reviews were written by real people. This movie is generic bubble gum with no flavor. And it's such a shame because we want children's films based on legends or fairy tales from around the world. The hero is unlikable throughout and learns nothing from his journey (although he tells us he did at the end, just before he does his "Kowabunga Dude!" pose, and the credits role.) The Monkey King (2023) isn't a story, it's a product to be consumed and immediately forgotten.
