When I was 12 years old in 1963, the youngest in my class at Greengates International School in Mexico City, our English teacher, Mrs Nancy Hidalgo, took our class through this amazing book. I ended up with an English degree,and working as a proof reader and editor. And I still try to use some of the great words I learned. Pusillanimous remains my favourite. (I'm a Brit now living in Spain).
