Shona Thomson

I really enjoyed this book, it is a great family story, set in war time, great descriptions of how people coped with loss and losing the way of life many family’s of great country houses took for granted before the 2nd World War. Christabel, Flossie and Digby will stay with me for a very long time. Do yourself a favour and read this fabulous book.
