Not good. The only decent parts were when Cage was on screen, which was not enough. The story is mediocre to say the least and been done 100 times already. The direction for the main character must have been “without knowing why your character is on the verge of tears the entire movie.” Her acting, and frankly everyone’s acting with the exception of Cage, was abysmal. Zero life in any characters… moments that make no sense what-so-ever even after reading the director’s “explanation.” Scariest movie in 10 years? Not even close! I only gave it 2 stars over 1, because of Nicolas Cage’s performance, and a couple nice things they did with the cinematography.
