whoever this game is for its not for me
punishments are random and inconsistent, many traps/punishments being unforeseeable in any meaningful way
upgrades change gameplay in no meaningful way (attacks do more damage, more hp, etc.) this leaves runs feeling stale and progression unrewarding
multiple features do nothing more than annoy the player, they teach you nothing and result in no carthasis (bad hitboxes, unavoidable damage)
the most rouge like aspect (randomized buffs and whatnot that impact your run) have minimal synergy and inconsistent balance. (items obtained the exact same way have drastically different power levels)
the game is not conducive to learning and planning ahead (the best aspect of rouge likes imo) item descriptions are brief and confusing, with no specific information about how they function. This only makes it harder to try and synergize various items.
with barebones combat, unsatisfying upgrades, minimal ability to actually adapt, and unexceptional mechanics the games grows stale incredibly quickly, the exact opposite of what a rouge like should be.
If you enjoy a long and unchanging grind, where you don't learn much or make meaningful progress, i guess you might like it
