Unfortunately, this movie was a huge disappointment. The acting is horrendous, with lines delivered in such an unconvincing way that itโs hard to take the characters seriously.
Right from the start, the setup is confusing. The film opens in a city meeting where everyone is speaking English, which makes no sense given the setting. It wouldโve been much more believable if the characters spoke their native language with subtitles.
The story itself is painfully predictable. At just under two hours long, it felt like a complete waste of time, nearly two hours of my life I wonโt get back. The action scenes donโt help either. The gunfire looks unrealistic and poorly executed, which completely kills any tension or excitement.
I also went in thinking this might be a sequel. The actor playing the brother is a completely different person, which only added to the confusion. And while Iโve enjoyed Liam Neeson in past films, itโs starting to feel like heโs aged out of these action-heavy roles. I know that might sound harsh, but itโs the truth.
In the end, Iโm honestly glad I sacrificed my time so others donโt have to. I just donโt see anyone really enjoying this one. If youโre on the fence about watching it, my advice is simple: skip it.
